M.D. Venture Partners Charitable Foundation
The M.D. Venture Partners Charitable Foundation has been established in the memory of Walter C. Rose, Jr. M.D. with the mission to improve the quality of people's lives through grants supporting medical research, preventive medicine, and cancer treatment.
During his life, Dr. Rose had a positive impact on thousands of families as he delivered into this world more than 3,000 babies. His compassion and care for his patients was particularly evident in his treatment of patients who were fighting cancer. He served as President of the New Hampshire chapter of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and was a member of the American Medical Association as well as Chief of Staff of the Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic – Keene. Dr. Rose died of cancer at age 61.
M.D. Venture Partners, LLC contributes 1% of its profits to the M.D. Venture Partners Charitable Foundation. Additional grants to the Foundation have been made by the principals of M.D. Venture Partners.
Grants and contributions from the M.D. Venture Partners Charitable Foundation are allocated by its Board of Directors to worthy causes which fulfill the mission of the Foundation. Within the past year our foundation has made contributions to the following:
- The Lombardi Center for Cancer Research at Georgetown University
- The American Heart Association
- The American Cancer Society
